We did it! The 2017 Pop-Up Art Walk was a great success and great fun! I'll put up some pictures for posterity. A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped. You really made it a fun time. Thanks to Judy Knight for procuring the Wyoming Women's History House. The overwhelming sentiment of the weekend was that everyone was excited to see the place open! Our artwork was very well received. I must also thank my husband, Orrin. He did whatever we asked and was a good sport.... patient too.

The Wyoming Art Party has posted their Call for Entries/Artists. Here's the link.
WAP Call for Entries @ Pop-Up Artwalk
Within the link above is a link to the participating business. The list is not complete; they are waiting to hear back from many business/property owners. If you know these business/property owners, or can think of others who would be a good fit for LAQ, let us know.
If you have any other questions, post them here. If we can't come up with the answer, I'll find out.
Mary K
PS - I have emailed Lori Kirk @ Cowgirl Yarn. I will post more when I hear back from her.

Looking for Soft Fuse and magnetic sheets
Does anyone know if Soft Fuse is available in Laramie? If you order online, where do you get it from?
Also, I'm looking for thin, flexible magnetic sheets (like fridge magnets) to use in a project. Any source ides for those?
Thanks!
Barbara

Often informative blog
Hi all,
Do any of you follow Shelley Stokes' Cedar Canyon Textiles blog? She is the one who invented (?) Shiva Paintstiks. Not sure about invented, but she used to sell them exclusively and has used them almost exclusively in her work. Her newsletter is one of the few I actually look at each time she puts out a new one. She has recently sold off the part of her business that sells the Painstiks and now focuses on her art. Here's a link to her most recent newsletter.

Her blog has also been interesting in the last year or so as she documents her shift from selling Shiva to working on her art.
Cheers,
Mary K
