Old Business

Discussion regarding teachers/lecturers for 2021. A techniques approach is preferred at this time. Dolly will contact Lyric Kinard for group pricing and class structure (perhaps two days of three hours each) in possibly September. It was agreed that each participant pay a share with LAQ picking up the balance. One option might be to meet together and watch on a big screen.

Hospice Quilts: Brett, Judy, Kathleen, Mary C., and Ronda are interested in a virtual work day checking in via Zoom every 1.5-2 hours. It has been scheduled for Thursday, April 15. A notice will be sent in case anyone else is interested.

Long range planning includes a demo by Mary K. on photographing quilts. Barbara is going to the workshop in Cheyenne and will have input.
Discussion: What are venues for exhibiting our work? Post calls for entry on the LAQ blog.
Dye Days: August 19 (Prep) for 20 &21

Discussion regarding an Autumn book group. Creative Strength Training has been well received with good participation by LAQ members. Thanks to Michaella for facilitating two groups and Mary C. for arranging the Zoom room.

Michaella will send information for an on-line free motion machine quilting activity with Angela Walters.

The Sewing Guild fabric sale is scheduled for April 24 at the fairgrounds. Donations are being accepted and may be dropped off with Mary K.
