These are all from out "book club"...
Snow died (with Brett 2019). Bronze and Amber waves. Started with attempted mono painting for tree. Started stitching over tree shape. Wasn't good. Son Scott suggested it needed to grow, and sketched more shake o worka market on a transparency.

Inspiration from images worth provided pattern. The pear pieces were cut from either snow or low immersion. I'll quilt th the pear in variegated green and the shadow in purple. I've auditioned my quilting pattern with the transparency film.

First sample during the book on color use and perspective. Fused the tree trunks and few motioned the leaves. Want to add more leaves in variegated green before finishing. Background is deconstructed printing without screen (2021 dye days).

Innovative piecing wish strips. Fused eagle.

The last one is fabric collage with one element differs to create a focal point.

I dyed this linen/rayon blend from Dharma with Nebula Navy.  I did cut the pattern pieces first, surged all raw edges and wrapped each piece on PVC.
