Texture Demo by Michaella and Ronda with samples and ahand out for wet & wrinkled and fused textures.

 

Meeting

1.       Planning

Dolly has been working on a new bag (pictures on the LAQ blog). It could be a future class or demo.

Dye Days moved to July 13-14-15 in Ashley Hope’s UW sculpture area

More classes similar to Lyric’s last year, Jane Dunnewold online, Claire Benn

Choose a theme and create our own classes

Watch videos, try techniques, and discuss instead of a book

Incorporate challenges 2 or 3 or 4 times per year

 

2.        November 4 & 5:  Hospice Work Days via Zoom – pinning days prior?

 

3.       November 19:  Show & Tell, bring ideas for videos and techniques, working in bite-size chunks.

 

4.       Christmas Party:  December 10, 1 pm at Ashley Hope’s home, 802 Steele

 

5.       2023:  Challenges in March and June?

Michaella continue Angela Walters videos. February? Fillers?

Book group – colors, collage. Think about options, book covers on blog

August quilt show? SOK Gallery 2^nd& Ord Tentative dates August 25, 26 and maybe 27
